General

Los Cabos is an incredible climate.

Having 350 days a year of clear skies, you just can’t miss. Choose any date and come enjoy the sunny vacation you’ve been waiting for.

During the summer, highs can be in the low 30˚C with occasional showers. Winter evenings may drop to the mid to high teens, with daytime highs nearing the 30˚C (86˚F) range.

The weather is perfect for activities like golf, fishing, surfing, diving or for simply relaxing and getting that perfect tan in Los Cabos sun.

Get your sunscreen. 

The local currency is the Mexican Peso. US dollars are widely accepted. There are major bank branches locally for banking and exchanges. Credit cards are widely accepted as well which will typically charge in Pesos at the exchange rate of the credit card terms.

Depending on how you want to spend your time. We can arrange a rental vehicle for you or a personal driver. If you are staying in a gated resort style property we can also arrange golf cart rentals. 

Yes. There is a wonderful company that provides  professional babysitting services in Los Cabos.

There are many provisions and investments made by the local and federal governments to provide health and safety wellbeing for locals and visitors. 

A recent $50 million infusion to upgrade security infrastructure, equipment and personnel in Los Cabos should put any visitor at ease. Any traveler needing assistance has a wealth of information available at their fingertips to contact in case of emergencies.

Touted for its seemingly endless sunny days, the dusty Baja Peninsula can bring searing heat during the summer months, meaning visitors on vacation need to know what to pack for safety and comfort. Items to add to the packing list include a wide array of sunscreens, aloe for sunburns, waterproof shoes, flip-flops, essential medication, and even a light jacket for winter months when temperatures can drop into the 60s. Make a travel checklist for your trip and ensure you have packed everything you need.

 

There are many ways celebrations and events are hosted in Cabo.  Most villas are open to hosting gatherings within reason and some restrictions on noise may be set and controlled by the Home Owners Association depending on the location. Speak to a VIP Concierge about the details of your event.

Absolutely. We have several options of full-sized luxury SUVs, Mercedes Sprinter Vans, or larger vehicles for groups. If you have multiple arrivals, we can make arrangements for all guests. See the services section for more.

Arrangements can be made with your Concierge or your VIP Agent for payment on-site or in advance. You can pay with major credit cards. Booking in advance is always best to get what you desire. 

Definitely. A Cabo VIP Rentals Concierge will be available to you in advance of your stay and while you are on-site to make sure you make the most of your time in Cabo. 

There are several banks that can service a banking transaction for you in Cabo. These international banks also have ATMs. USD are widely accepted as well as Pesos of course. 

Golfing

As a guest, a Cabo VIP Rentals concierge can assist with your golfing arrangements. Send a booking request in advance or ask your concierge during your stay.

Transportation to and from the course can be arranged by your concierge. Some rental properties are located adjacent to the courses and the course can send a shuttle as well or we can arrange for your own private golf cart rentals for your stay at most locations. 

Tee times made with your concierge are payable in advance. You can pay with major credit cards.

Golfers come to Cabo from all over the world. The better the course is ranked the further in advance you should book to better your chances get the slots you are looking for. The time of year can be a factor as well for availability.

Yachts & Fishing Charters

For a private charter group, the best way to select your journey is by time and the experience you would like to have. If you’re not going out for a FULL day then you either want to be on the water for the daytime and fun in the sun OR charter a sunset cruise with typically departs around 4 and back at 8 PM and  are almost guaranteed to experience some afternoon sun then an incredible sunset on your cruise. 

If you are booking a private charter and especially a fishing charter then you will be embarking from Cabo San Lucas Marina which is in the heart of town. Some vessels dock in Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose.  You will receive instructions on the gate and slip number an how to gain access to the piers. 

The crew of the boat are included in the charter price however this does not include gratuities. These folks will take very good care of everyone – take care of them! 

Yes. Most all charters include food and beverages for the time you are on the vessel and usually, there is a cook on board. Check with your concierge or booking agent and review the Vessel Profiles which have more information.

Yes. You can charter vessels for the parts of the day, the entire day, overnight or multiple nights.
